Important wins for FC Drenica and FC Ferizaj
Two goals from Igball Jashari helped FC Drenica secure an important 4–2 victory against FC Malisheva. The match was played on Tuesday at the “Bajram Aliu” stadium in Skenderaj and was part of Round 25 of the AlbiMall Kosovo Superleague. Jashari opened the scoring in the 35th minute, while Diatta Asanne equalized three minutes later. Meanwhile, the rest of the match produced four more goals. Jashari restored the lead in the 80th minute, and Kreshnik Uka extended it to 3–1 in the 83rd minute. However, FC Malisheva responded quickly through Mevlan Zeka (85’). Nevertheless, just two minutes later, the home side scored their fourth goal through Andi Veliqi, sealing the victory. Despite this win, FC Drenica remains at the bottom of the table, now with 28 points, while FC Malisheva sits in fourth place with 37 points.
Another important win in the survival race was achieved by FC Ferizaj, who defeated FC Prishtina 3–0 in front of their home fans. Ade Oguns (39’), Ruben Silva Richards (63’), and Jakup Berisha (90+4’) scored the goals for coach Nevil Dede’s team. After this victory, FC Ferizaj holds eighth place with 29 points, the same as FC Llapi in seventh. Meanwhile, FC Prishtina, which is now on a run of five matches without a win, remains in third place with 38 points.
The other three matches of this round will be played on Wednesday, featuring: FC Prishtina e Re vs FC Ballkani, FC Drita vs FC Dukagjini, and FC Llapi vs SC Gjilani.
